Pork Ordering Information
Young Hogs
We have halves available from 7-month-old pigs, processed at peak readiness.
Price: $7.00 per pound hanging weight (approximately 80-100 lbs. per half)
Deposit: $100 per half (applied to your final balance)
Balance due: After slaughter on October 20th
Custom cuts: You’ll receive an invoice and directions for submitting your cut order directly to Mt. View Meats.

These young hogs provide tender, high-quality pork for a wide variety of cuts.
Sausage Sows
We also have halves available from older gilts that have never produced piglets.
Price: $4.00 per pound hanging weight (approximately 150-180 lbs. per half)
Deposit: $100 per half (applied to your final balance)
Balance due: After slaughter on October 20th
Custom cuts: Same process through Mt. View Meats.
Slaughter fee is included
Sausage sows produce excellent meat, though slightly more mature. They’re ideal for sausage, larger slow-cooked cuts, and of course ham and bacon.
Processing & Pickup
Depending on your selected cuts and curing requests, processing typically takes 2–4 weeks before your pork is ready for pickup. Information on cutting and curing costs can be found on the Mt. View Meats website.
Deposits
The $100 deposit includes a $4 convenience fee for online payment.
If you prefer to pay cash, please arrange to drop off your payment within 24 hours to secure your order. A cash option is also available at checkout.
